Cerro del Aguila Hydroelectric Project 510 MW
Cerro del Aquila hydropower Project, also known as Mantaro 3, is located in Peru and represents the third stage in exploitation of Mantaro River for energy production. The plant is positioned 11.7km downstream of restitution tunnel of the Mantaro 2 hydropower plant.
The hydropower project supports a total installed capacity of 510 MW over a gross head of about 250 m.
