FGP and WPMP: Future Growth Project and Weelhead Pressure Management Project. These are the two phases of one of the most important operations currently in the Oil and Gas international market. The project is commissioned by Tengizchevroil (TCO), which plans to expand the production site of Atyrau, Kazakhstan, a refinery of 12 million tons of crude oil per year. At present, ATB Riva Calzoni is making the equipment to upgrade the plant.

The first important order in terms of quantity and value arrived in October 2015: TCO has entrusted ATB's Riva Calzoni expertise in the petrochemical industry and required the manufacture of 12 molecular sieve reactors. These are pressure vessels for Atyrau, all the same design features, used in the process of gaseous hydrocarbons to physically separate unwanted substances: carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and water.

The second order is to fabricate six units, splitted into two trains, expected in Korea to be installed on modules: injection compressors suctions drums, designed to remove portions of liquid hydrocarbons from process gases and thus prevent compressor damage.

For these six ATB Riva Calzoni appliances is responsible for supplying the process interiors developed and manufactured by Sulzer.

All supply is made of grade 22 enhanced steel (ASME SA 542 Tp B CL4 or ASME SA 508 Gr 22 CL 3). The inside of the units is completely coated with Alloy 825 or 625, high alloy steel, to improve corrosion resistance.

The first deliveries are scheduled in April 2018.
