Hydrotreating reactor for Zeeland Refinery plant
With this investment the plant will upgrade its Hydrocracking unit capacity, the largest in the world.
ATB Riva Calzoni signed a contract with Total and Lukoil to supply a hydrotreating reactor, destined to their Vlissingen Refinery plant, located in the southwest of the Netherlands.
The oil and gas equipment, made of V modified steel, weighs 570 tons on a total length of 30 meters. It has a thickness higher than the average and namely 207mm. With this investment the Refinery willupgrade its Hydrocracking unit capacity, the largest in the world. The plant’s improvement makes it possible to have only one shutdown for maintenance every 18 months, instead of once a year and will reduce loss of production and operational costs.
The delivery is scheduled to be made at the beginning of 2019.
